Facilitator Certification

Governance Alive policy for facilitator certification:

• Complete Module 1

• Complete Module 2

• Submit 10 facilitation reports for peer review. Criteria:

  • Facilitate meetings of at least 3 different groups (if possible, external clients).

  • No more than 2 reports may be from facilitating study group meetings.

  • No more than 5 reports may be from groups where the facilitator is also a member.

• Attend 10 hours of study group (4 meetings, 2-3 hrs each) with supervision.

• Submit a certification report.

• Participate in a certification assessment meeting with a supervisor and an already certified facilitator. A client may be invited as well.

• Make payment on outstanding balances, if any.

• Commit to participating in the certification assessment of at least 2 other facilitators.
